Workout Recap – Week 3

**Workout Recap for the week of June 11th – 17th**

The Girl's Got Sole - Sat group

Sunday, June 11th – Cross-training day. I got in a good bike workout of just over 11 miles with a hydromassage after. If you’ve never heard of a hydromassage, it’s the best in-gym water pressure massage. Some of the few Planet Fitness gyms have the Hydro Beds and they are really awesome. The best ‘free’ massage out there.

Monday, June 12th – Had a good workout on the bike that morning before work. So much easier to get it done first thing, especially on a Monday.

Tuesday, June 13th – Run day! Woke up feeling tired and would have preferred to go back to bed, but I never regret a run, especially with my group.

Wednesday, June 14th – REST DAY!

Thursday, June 15th – Track Thursday. We did a total of 4 800s with a 200 meter walk in between each 800. Warm up was 2 laps of walking, then cooled down with 2 more laps of walking. Total was over 3 miles with the walking portions.

Friday, June 16th – REST DAY!

Saturday, June 17th – First real long run of marathon training. Had 10 miles on my NYC Marathon schedule, and it went well. I felt pretty good less for being so hot and sweaty. Definitely a lot better than last Saturday’s 6-miler. Nice to know those bad runs are few and far between.
