Welcome to the summer! Well, it’s June anyway, and I always feel like June is the beginning of the summer season. Though, I suppose June 21st is the official start of summer. It’s feeling like summer here in Florida, that’s for sure! Last week’s workouts were good, though I ended up having a flare-up day, so my energy felt none existent by Thursday.
Sunday, May 27th – Bike workout at the gym for 45 minutes. Was feeling pretty good since it was a three-day weekend.
Monday, May 28th – Cross-training on the bike for just under 9 miles. Wanted to have a lazy day, but gotta get the workout done first!
Tuesday, May 29th – Humid 5k run with some of my group. Felt pretty good, less for the heat!
Wednesday, May 30th – REST DAY!
Thursday, May 31st – Track Thursday. Warmed up with 2 laps of walking before running my magic mile. It wasn’t as good as last year’s, but it was not bad. Then walked more to get a total of 3 miles total.
Friday, June 1st – REST DAY!
Saturday, June 2nd – This was kick-off day for Orlando Galloway, so I hit up the gym after the event. Got in 8 miles which was good.
