Happy Memorial Day weekend! I hope everyone gets a chance to spend some time with family and friends as well as remember those who gave it all for our freedoms. I’ve been fortunate to have a three-day weekend and I love having the extra time off. My room-mate had back surgery on Monday the 18th, and I’m happy to say that she is home and doing well. It’s been a nice mostly chill weekend here in between workouts.
Sunday, May 17th – Bike workout. Got in 13.2 miles on my exercise bike. Was happy to get this one done with the stomach issues I was having that day.
Monday, May 18th – Bike workout for 12.3 miles before work. Still at home as my gym reopens on May 26th. Going to see how I feel going back later this month.
Tuesday, May 19th – Morning 3 miler with a couple of my runner friends. Stomach was doing okay, but dealing with a sinus infection. I hate to miss workouts, so pushed through and got it done.
Wednesday, May 20th – REST DAY.
Thursday, May 21st – Hill run with one of my runner friends for just over a 5k distance. Feeling better!
Friday, May 22nd – REST DAY.
Saturday, May 23rd – Long run Saturday. Did 6.75 miles in Winter Park with a couple of my runner friends. Quite a humid morning here in Central Florida.
