Workout Recap W/E: 4/28

Where did the month of April go? It seems as though it flew by. I need to see how many miles I racked up for the month between running and biking. Last week started off with the Star Wars Dark Side Half Marathon, which will be my last race for awhile.

Sunday, April 22nd – My highest mileage day of the week, as I paced the Star Wars Dark Side Half at Walt Disney World for the 3:30 finish time. Race went well, just a bit hotter than I’d like that day.

Monday, April 23rd – REST DAY.

Tuesday, April 24th – Run day with my group. Got in a good 5k first thing in the morning with some of my girls. Felt pretty good since I was pacing the 3:30 finish time at Sunday’s race which is an easy pace for me.

Wednesday, April 25th – Birthday workout at the gym. Did some cross-training on the bike.

Thursday, April 26th – Thursday morning run with some of my group. Was feeling pretty tired, but got the run done.

Friday, April 27th – REST DAY.

Saturday, April 28th – Good 8-mile run on the Painted Trail (Seminole-Wekiva Trail) in Seminole County. Weather was pretty nice for our Saturday run.
