Last week was anything but typical. I ended up house-sitting for my parents, so I was at their place all week. They have two birds and a guinea pig, so I took care of them, along with my budgie, Toby. It wasn’t too bad, but I’m not a fan of the Kissimmee area anymore, it’s not what it used to be when I was a kid. So, I was happy to get back home to Winter Garden on Saturday.
Sunday, March 10th – Hit the gym for a cross-training workout. Did 10.63 miles on the bike, which was really good for me. One of my longest bike workouts for sure.
Monday, March 11th – Bike workout at the gym. 8.22 miles in just over 47 minutes. Felt a bit more tired than I did on Sunday, but good workout nonetheless.
Tuesday, March 12th – Missed my group run in Orlando, so ran on my own after work in my parents hood. Ended up getting a great pace going, which surprised me since I wasn’t sure I would get in the full 3 miles.
Wednesday, March 13th – REST DAY.
Thursday, March 14th – Morning run with my group. Nice to be able to get in a more social run with a couple of my friends.
Friday, March 15th – REST DAY.
Saturday, March 16th – Saturday group run. We ran in Winter Park, and it was a beautiful morning. Bit more humid than I would have liked, but good 6-miler.
