Workout Recap W/E: 2/17

Last week was a better than the previous week. While I was still exhausted a good deal of the time, I didn’t have a flare up again. I also had my blood drawn and was able to finally get a change in my thyroid medication dosing, as I stated in the previous blog post. Workout-wise, I did well in getting all five days in.

Sunday, February 11th – After running 12 miles the day before, I hit the gym and got in a good bike workout. Did 7.7 miles in 40:30 minutes. Legs were sore, but got it done.

Monday, February 12th – Wanted to just stay in bed until I had to log into work, but I got up and to the gym. Sometimes, you’ve got to push yourself to get it done.

Tuesday, February 13th – Humid morning run with my group. Was happy to get out there with my girls for a run.

Wednesday, February 14th – REST DAY.

Thursday, February 15th – Bit slower of run with two of my girls. Quite a foggy morning!

Friday, February 16th – REST DAY.

Saturday, February 17th – Ran 5 miles with my group before doing a 5k fun run. It was the Quack Attack 5k for United Against Poverty. I did it with two of my Sole Warrior girls, and we ran the first 2 miles, then walked the last 1.1 miles. We also got in another couple of miles of walking to and from the race start/finish.
