Last week was a busy one for me work-wise and all. I did take Sunday off from my usual cross-training workout at the gym after running the WDW Half Marathon the day before (race recap coming this week!). My Plantar Fasciitis was also bugging me, so the extra rest was a good plan. Once Monday came along, I got myself on track with my usual schedule.
Sunday, January 7th – REST DAY. (post half marathon recovery)
Monday, January 8th – Gym workout, cross-training on the bike. Did 9 miles in 45 minutes. Felt pretty good on the bike, but my foot was still sore.
Tuesday, January 9th – Run Day! Blessed to have felt better when I woke up, so I got in a great 5k run with some of my group in Baldwin Park.
Wednesday, January 10th – REST DAY.
Thursday, January 11th – Ran just over 3 miles with my group, was feeling good.
Friday, January 12th – REST DAY.
Saturday, January 13th – Ran 7 miles with my group, then walked another mile. Felt a bit tired, but as always, happy to have gotten out for a fun run with my group.
