Wow, it’s hard to believe that we are already in November. Thanksgiving is in 12 days, and then December is right on it’s heels…this year seems to be moving faster now. At least to me. It’s been full of a lot of ups and downs, so I’m ready for some holiday cheer. 🙂
Sunday, November 4th – Wine & Dine Half Marathon. It ended up being quite a humid day, weather-wise and my race didn’t end anywhere like I thought it would have. You can read my race recap here if you want to hear more about it. At least I finished! Ha.
Monday, November 5th – Despite my legs being sore and tight, I hit the gym for a bike workout. Was hoping it would help loosen things up.
Tuesday, November 6th – Got in a 3 mile run with some of my group. My legs weren’t too pleased, and my right leg was definitely not a happy camper, but I ran!
Wednesday, November 7th – REST DAY.
Thursday, November 8th – Run with friend Colleen before work. Legs were definitely feeling better than they did on Tuesday morning, and my pace reflected that.
Friday, November 8th – REST DAY.
Saturday, November 9th – Saturday group run. Did 8 miles, and it was a bit of a push at the end. Not only was it quite humid out, but my right leg was less than pleased with me. It seems that since I drove to Atlanta and ran the 10-mile race there, it’s been a bit of an issue on long runs.
How were your workouts last week? Anyone run a race?
