When Running Clothes Take Over

Running clothes have taken priority in my closet. They have taken over my everyday wear of t-shirts and tops and enforced their superiority. It’s official, I’m a more stylishly dressed runner than I am day in and day out chick.

Not that there is anything wrong with this. I mean hey, I look pretty cute running in my little skirts out there on the pavement (if I could only reel in a guy in these cute numbers…). But, this leaves the rest of my wardrobe begging for an upgrade. Or at least some love. I admit, I’m not a very fashionable dresser in the first place. I mean, I’m more than happy and comfortable heading out the door in a pair of jeans and a tee. That’s just me.

It would be nice though to have a few outfits that I am comfortable in, but that look nicer than a t-shirt or plain old top. I’m normally just not into “dressing up” much other than a pair of khakis and blouse. Been considering trying some longer skirts lately though, I mean who knows? Maybe I’ll really like them.

How about you? Are you just as stylish not running as you are running? Curious on thoughts.
