A little over a week ago, I was greeted with an awesome gift in the mail. It was a tee-shirt from Heather, aka skippyhaha. She is an Asheville vintage gal who offered to send a shirt in exchange for some blogging love. The offer intrigued me, so I headed on over to her etsy shop. I was pleasantly surprised at the great shirts that she had available. There really are some neat ones.
So, I emailed Heather, putting down a couple of choices, deciding that I’d let her pick which one to send. This way, it would sort of be a surprise upon receipt sort of deal. She sent me this great vintage shirt from The Great Smoky Mountains. And, I have to say, it looks better on me than it did on Dolly Parton. Don’t get me wrong, I like Ms. Nine to Five, but hey, sometimes it takes a regular gal to make it really work.
Please go check out the great vintage shirt offerings she has in her shop before the one you fall head over heels in love with gets sold out! And hey, what’s the worst that could happen, you spend fifteen or twenty minutes checking out her shop and find more shirts than you have any inkling what to do with? There’s always birthdays, Easter and just “thinking of you” gifts. There’s nothing like the feeling of giving something to a friend or family member. You know you can’t argue with that line of thinking!
