It’s time for another Ultimate Coffee Date! I missed last month’s virtual fun, so I wanted to ensure I was prepared for November. If you don’t know about the Ultimate Coffee Date, let me enlighten you. 🙂
The Ultimate Coffee Date was created by Deborah and Coco to bring us all together virtually the first Saturday of each month. It’s all about enjoying a cup of coffee, tea, or your favorite beverage and just catching up on this and that with one another. Definitely jump in and join the fun, as we’re all friends here!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…
That I’ve had my share of ups and downs lately, but I’ve still got my head up! I don’t want to let my depression/anxiety and thyroid issues win and take over my life. It’s MY life and I have so much more to do and more dreams to chase!
I’m working on something big that I will be pursuing in 2017. It’s something that is deep in my heart and has been there for some time. I truly believe the things you can’t stop thinking about and are passionate about are your calling. So, while I may not know where it may completely lead me in the next year, I am very much optimistic and excited. 🙂
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…
My racing (well, races since I’m not out there for any kind of speed awards LOL) is finally kicked back into gear. And, while I struggled with Sunday’s race, I know it’s just one run. With Space Coast Half Marathon coming up at the end of the month, followed by the OUC Half Marathon, and then the Jeff Galloway 13.1 race weekend, I’ve got a few running events right around the corner.
In all honesty, while I’m registered for the OUC Half Marathon, it’s the weekend after Space Coast and the weekend before Jeff Galloway’s race in Atlanta. So, I’ll likely just run the 5k and add in 2-3 miles before or after it instead to ensure I am recovering well for Atlanta. I’ve run 3 half marathons in 3 weekends before, but it’s not easy.
Also, I’ve got a race I’m very excited about the weekend after Jeff Galloway’s race, the Hot Chocolate 15k in Tampa. I’ll actually be running that race for BibRave, and I’m looking forward to it almost as much as I’m looking forward to going up to Atlanta for a weekend.
Much more is happening after the holidays as well, this is a great time of year for us half and full marathon runners!
How about you? If we were having coffee, what would you want to share?
Please comment, and let’s chat! Also, please be sure to visit the other bloggers in the virtual link up!
