Wow, where has the time gone? It’s already the week of Thanksgiving! At least it’s feeling like winter here in Central Florida lately.
To get things a bit up to date… I’ve finally been able to run again the last 3 weeks. Being able to get back into my run/walk routine has me grateful. I’ve been able to get in my last long run for OUC Orlando Half Marathon. Hard to believe that’s less than two weeks away!
Also, I ran the 2022 9K for K9s on Saturday morning in Apopka. While I was feeling tired, my pace was decent. It’s definitely a lot better than it was for the Windermere 10k on October 15th. That was a struggle fest for me. I wasn’t thrilled with the course, but I do love the charity the K9s race benefits, K9s United.
I’ve been so bad the last month with my nutrition. That has to change, so today, I’m back to counting calories and making sure I’m hydrating well enough. While I would love to drop 2-3lbs, it’s more about feeling my best and with my half marathon on December 3rd, it’s important.
Otherwise, I’ve been staying busy working (of course), and with my true crime YouTube channel. If you are into true crime (unsolved cases, missing people, crime news), check it out and subscribe! Working on growing the channel, and I’d love to hit 1k subscribers by the end of the year. That’s the goal anyway. 🙂
Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!
