Another week, another dollarâ€¦ oh wait, thatâ€™s actually another day, another dollar. Ah well, it *is* in fact another week and time for another fun blog for Thankful Things Thursday. So, here we go!
Iâ€™m thankful that Iâ€™m almost done with my meds. This antibiotic has caused me a number of side effects and I really dislike it. Sunday is my last day taking it and I couldnâ€™t be happier. Then, I go see the ENT doctor on Monday morning.
Iâ€™m thankful that I was just chosen as a Sweat Pink Ambassador! I just found out last night and Iâ€™m excited. I love the new opportunities that have been opened up for me. I look forward to these new experiences! Iâ€™ll be blogging more about this very soon.
Iâ€™m thankful for rest days. It can be difficult to take a day off from working out, especially when you have to take more than a day or two off. Iâ€™ve been experiencing some sciatica and soreness since Tuesday, and have been leaning toward the safe side and resting. Sometimes, our bodies are telling us that we need to slow down and take it easy for a bit. I hated to skip my track run today, but I knew it was most likely in my best interest to do so. Iâ€™m thinking I may have overdone it last week with all the biking I did, so now my body is wanting to scale back this week. Iâ€™m hoping the sciatica calms so that I can run with my group again this Saturday.
Iâ€™m thankful for my birds. I know I tend to mention them frequently, but they really are a shining light in my life. I canâ€™t imagine my day without them in it. I thank God for their sweetness.
Iâ€™m thankful that my bondi-bands and hydration belt came. I got them both on Monday when I got home from work and it brought a smile to my face. I look forward to wearing my new bondi bands (got one for biking!) and trying out my new iFitness hydration belt on my run Saturday.
