Thankful Thursday: Plum laughs

Can you believe it? It’s Thursday already! This is of course a good thing because the weekend is right around the Friday corner. I love my weekends, but I’m sure you do too. Well, unless you work on the weekends, then I suppose you may rethink the weekend love thing.

I’m thankful for good runs. I had probably what was the best solo run in awhile this morning. Felt good. It’s nice to be able to get a little speed work in, even if it’s not as fast as I know I am capable of going.

I’m thankful for Nuun. I am loving the Kona Cola flavor. It mixes things up a bit in between the grape and strawberry lemonade that I otherwise tend to put in my water. Need to try some other flavors soon.

I’m thankful for the Olympics. They are not only inspiring and motivating, but they have been keeping me up past my bedtime (yeah, even I didn’t know I had a bedtime, guess childhood comes back as an adult or something). I am so happy that Team USA is doing so well. And, I love seeing the great athletes period. These folks have worked hard and it shows.

I’m thankful for Stephanie Plum. More specifically, Janet Evanovich’s wit in her writing Stephanie. I am sooo loving her books that I laugh out loud at work and get stares from coworkers as I’m listening to the audio books. Totally worth it. 🙂

How about you, what are you thankful for? Leave a comment and share.

  1. Thankful posts make me happy =) Have you read all of the Stephanie Plum books? I was pretty into them but dropped off at around number 10 since I was drawn into another series and just never got back to them.

  2. No, just got into them. I wasn’t able to get book 2 before book 3, so I’m finishing up 3 now. I just got 2 the other day, so it’s next. I like to read in order when possible though. Audio helps me read faster since I can listen at work. 🙂

  3. So glad to hear you had a great run! It always makes me smile when someone says they had a good one. Actually, I guess I must be thankful for other people’s good runs!

I’m thankful for my boyfriend’s patience, and for new bloggy friends who are more lovely than I ever imagined.
