Thankful Thursday: God, Friends & Endorphins


It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Thankful Thursday post, so it’s very overdue. I’ve been through a lot lately, but it’s not all bad. There are always good things to go along with any downs. Sure, sometimes the bad may seem to outnumber the good things, but I’m doing my best to keep positive thinking above it all.

I’m thankful for friends. I truly have some of the best friends, they are like family to me. They are always checking in with me to see how I am if they haven’t heard from me, and are willing to listen to me when I need an ear or a shoulder to lean/cry on.

I’m thankful for God. He is number one for me. If it wasn’t for God, so much would be impossible. I may not be the best disciple for Him all the time, but I try to do my best each day. Sometimes, the most worthwhile and important things are the hardest. But, I know for a fact that without God, I would not be doing half of the things I’ve been able to accomplish in the last year.


I’m thankful for Endorphins. Through all of my hard times, I can always turn to running or some form of workout to get the positive chemicals flowing in me. LOVE, LOVE those endorphins! 🙂

I’m thankful that I work from home. Sure, some days are just rough, but I don’t have to worry about having to drive through traffic or rainy weather conditions to go into the office. I can just get up, shower and then turn on my work computer and go. It’s something I was feeling especially grateful for being able to do this morning when it was pouring down rain outside and my room-mate had to head out to her job.
