With everything that has been going on during this crazy month, I do have things to be thankful for. So, here I go…
I’m thankful for my mom. We are very close and she is always there when I need someone to talk to or even a shoulder to cry on. She’s just the best.
I’m thankful for cable TV. Okay, this is obviously a luxury, but the perk is included in my rent and it’s awesome. I am now becoming a fan of reality shows like “Storage Wars†and “Dog, The Bounty Hunter.†It’s nice to be able to have more channels that the dozen I had with my digital box at the ‘rents house.
I’m thankful that my grandma is doing better. She’s been sick and was in the hospital until last week and I am glad that she’s home and getting back to feeling like herself again. I know her kitties are definitely happy to see her.
I’m thankful that I now have my coffee maker. It’s brewing yummy coffee goodness each and every morning. I’m a flavored coffee drinker, so I’ve made some Starbucks Vanilla coffee and some Barnie’s Cool Cafe Blues brews this week. Love it!
I’m thankful for good memories. This Sunday would have marked the 20th anniversary “hatch day†of our beloved Mocha Moo parrot. I miss her oh so much, but I have been doing my best to remember all the good times and keep my happy memories at the forefront of my mind. I’m also running a 12k in her memory on Saturday, so this weekend will be one for her.
