I feel blessed right now. Life is good and I thank God for that. This Thankful Things Thursday definitely has God on it as the most important part of my life. He makes all things possible and has been and always will be there. I had a nice day yesterday just relaxing for the most part and feeling as though life is a blessing.
I’m thankful for relaxing days. Yesterday, It was so nice to just hang out at home and not do much. I did do a bit of laundry and getting things ready for work today, but other than that, not much else. It’s nice to spend the day with my birds who I know get upset with how often I am gone between work and fitness activities. I think I’m going to try to make a day like that happen once a month if possible. It was peaceful.
I’m thankful that I’m feeling better. The new meds from the doctor have started to work and the nausea from the antibiotic has calmed a good deal. I just hope this round works. I remain hopeful and optimistic! That’s the only way to be when facing obstacles along the way I think. I’ll be in to see the ENT doc in a week and a half, so we shall see.
I’m thankful for Pre-Workout Energizer. This Vega Sport product is really great! I use it before my morning runs and bike rides and it does make a difference in getting me going. I think it’s one of my favorite sport supplements by far right now. I put about half a scoop in 8oz of water (half of the recommended amount works well for workouts that are an hour or so I’ve found).
I’m thankful for Chocolate Zico. Oh my goodness, I LOVE this stuff. It really is like awesomeness in a bottle. Chocolate coconut water. Not only is it good for you, it tastes like a sinful drink and it’s not! I just wish I could afford to buy the stuff regularly, but at $2.50 a bottle, I’ll have to save it for a once in awhile treat. The price factor gets me on drinks like Odawalla and Naked too…it’s not that I’m not interested in checking those pretty yummy looking drinks out, but my bank account is telling me I have to be careful.
I’m thankful to be a part of Fit Fluential. I know I blogged about it yesterday, but I’m thankful to be a part of the family. So many great fellow fitness lovers are a part of Fit Fluential and I look forward to getting to know a lot of them better.
I’m thankful for great bike rides. I had an enjoyable ride and a good time on Tuesday night during the Full Thunder Moon Ride with Commute Orlando and fellow Cycling Savvy graduates. It was my first-ever ride in the rain (wasn’t heavy but on and off light rain), and I’m glad I did it with other riders as I’ve been wary of riding in those conditions for far too long. First run in the rain last month and now my first bike ride in the rain. Summer has already been full of new experiences. 🙂
How about you? What are you thankful for this week? Go ahead, post a comment and share with me and others about it!
