Skirt Sports Gym Girl Ultra review

I’m a Skirt Sports lover all the way through. I’ve been fortunate enough to be a Skirt Sports Ambassador now for a few months. I love being able to be a part of the Skirt Sports family and sharing my love for the brand. It puts a smile on my face when someone asks me about one of my skirts during a run.

Being a skirt runner started for me with the purchase of my first-ever running skirt, the Skirt Sports Kickstarter back in 2012. Not being a big skirt wearer normally, I was curious how much fun it might be to run in a skirt. The Kickstarter was a version of the Gym Girl Ultra skirt (which has become my favorite skirt, more on that soon!), but with just one pocket instead of the two a usual Gym Girl Ultra has in it’s shorties.

Soon, I was buying my second skirt, another Gym Girl Ultra, then a third and so on. I have to admit, I have quite the closest collection of my favorite skirt. The Gym Girl Ultra is just so very comfortable and fun to run in. The skirt comes in such a variety of colors and styles each with the 5″ inseam shortie underneath. It’s just like running in a pair of your favorite comfy shorts, only better!

The Gym Girl Ultra is Skirt Sports number one seller, and once you try one you’ll understand why! The shorties each have a pocket on either leg which you can use to stash gels, a key, phone, and more. I’ve easily run with even my small Canon camera in one of the pockets. The shorties stay put, they do not ride up as you run or do your workout. They are made with semi-compression mesh which is ultra comfortable.

I have worn my Gym Girl Ultra skirts for many training runs as well as races and I get many comments on how great and stylish they are. When Skirt Sports created this skirt, they really had not only comfort but fun in mind. If this sounds like a skirt you’d love to try out and wear on your next run, head on over to Skirt Sports and order one! You can get 20% off with code, SSGGS20.

Do you run in a skirt? Let me know in the comments!
