On October 3rd, I ran my virtual DC Wonder Woman 10k race. This was the second time I was able to run the Wonder Woman 10k Run. I really really love the theme and swag for this race series. This year, the race has a 1/4 long sleeve zip which is awesome. Looking forward to wearing it when it gets cold here in Florida.

I ran my 10k with my training group, and actually ended up doing 10 miles total that morning. The best part of the morning was the cooler temps! It was about 69 degrees when I started my run at 6am. The only issue I had was some slight heel pain in my left foot in the last mile of the 10k. It calmed down by mile 6ish though, thankfully.

The best part after running a virtual race is getting to put that bling around your neck! No, it’s not the same as a real race finish line, and being handed a medal, but I still love working for that beautiful bling! The Wonder Woman medal doesn’t disappoint! It’s one of my favorite virtual medals of the year.
