I’m constantly on the lookout for a running fuel that works for me. I’ve had some successes the last 9 years, but more not-so-great gels/fuels than anything. When given the opportunity to review Science in Sport gels as a BibRavePro, I was in.
SiS gels are the world’s first isotonic gel delivering a digestible and quick supply of carbohydrates for energy during exercise. Each gel contains 22 grams of carbs and the isotonic formula making them easy to consume without water. They are designed to be absorbed quickly into your gut, giving you fast energy during your run or workout. SiS gels are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and wheat-free.
I have been using a gel on my long runs the last few weeks, and I really like them. I’ve tried the raspberry, pineapple, and orange flavors. I was iffy on the pineapple flavor, because honestly, I couldn’t imagine a gel in that flavor, but it surprised me. The pineapple gel is pretty good! It’s not overpowering or too sweet. All the flavors go down easy, and they don’t upset my stomach.
The raspberry flavor also contains added electrolytes to aid in hydration. The orange flavor has 75mg of caffeine for an added mental and physical boost. And, the pineapple flavor is the basic isotonic energy gel formula. I appreciate the extra options some of the gel flavors give you, because sometimes you need a little caffeine on the run!
I am going to be adding SiS gels into my regular training and eventually racing regime. They are on my top run fuel list now. You can check out the gels for yourself, and save 20% off with discount code BIBRAVE20GEL.

I think these gels are great! Other gels make my tummy angry, but these work well and taste great 😉
