Product Review & Giveaway: Apera Bags

Disclaimer: I was given a free Apera bag in exchange for reviewing their product on my blog. All opinions stated are my own, and no other compensation was received.

When I heard about a gym bag that was not only really cute and stylish, but that was antimicrobial, I was definitely interested! Enter Apera Bags. These bags are in a word, awesome. I was in love from the moment I opened the box. I chose the performance duffel and it works as a gym bag as well as an everyday bag. It’s amazing how much this bag can carry! There are compartments and pockets everywhere!

The performance duffel has antimicrobial product protection inside and outside of the bag. It also has ventilated compartments, a water resistant base and wipeable linings keep your bag clean, dry and healthy. You can keep clothes, running/gym shoes and SO much more in this bag.

I’ve taken this bag on a couple of weekend trips for races and it’s been perfect. I can organize my stuff into the compartments and easily find whatever I’m looking for. Everything isn’t just shoved into one single large area, you can separate out your stuff. And, since I love pink, the fushia was great for me. The performance duffel also comes in three other colors if pink isn’t your thing. 🙂

Who is Apera? A bit about the company:
Apera officially launched in June 2012 by industry veterans Andrew Youngs and Frank Steed, who together possess over three decades of experience in the retail, bags and luggage business. With their deep industry expertise, Youngs and Steed saw a void in the sports bag market. Despite the multitude of sports bags available, today’s bags are unorganized, targeted to a younger consumer and made with inferior quality materials.

Athletes know how dirty and unsanitary our bags and gear can get, so Apera makes that no longer a problem. Everything is either washable or easily wiped clean. Not to mention that the bag has a number of ventilated compartments, like where you can store those shoes.

Apera makes a number of types of bag for every need. Besides the performance duffel, there’s the Tech Pack, Yoga Tote, Duffel Pack, Sling Tote, Active Pack, and the Sprint Pack. Whatever size or sport, they’ve got you covered. I could easily see myself getting the Sling Tote in the future. A girl can’t have too many bags, right?
