If you haven’t heard of Aftershokz headphones, let me tell you all about the best running headphones out there. Once you try them out, you’ll never go back to in-ear headphones again.
Aftershokz are all about bone conduction technology. These headphones sit right outside of your ears, allowing transducers to guide mini vibrations through the cheekbones to the inner ears, delivering sound that doesn’t plug or cover your ears. Because of this, not only do the headphones deliver amazing sound quality, but allow you to continue to be able to hear ambient sounds.
** Bone conduction technology delivering music/audio through your checkbones, leaving ears open to hear ambient sounds
** A complete wraparound titanium design providing a flexible fit for all-day confort and stability
** OpenFit design ensuring maximum situational awareness and comfort
** Bluetooth v4.2 connectivity and convenient multi-point pairing
** LeakSlayer technology that significantly reducing natural sound leakage
** Six hours of continuous music & calls on a single charge
** IP55 certified to repel sweat, dust and moisture from workouts to crazy weather
** The Trekz Air is 20% lighter than it’s counterpart, the Trekz Titanium
I’m someone who does NOT like earbuds. So, the outside of the ear placement of the Aftershokz was immediately something I love about the headphones. Once I put them on, they are so comfortable, and the sound quality is amazing. I not only could hear my music extremely well, but my surroundings were apparent as well. But, not so much that it makes the enjoyment of the music any less great.
The Aftershokz Trekz Air have become, and will remain my headphones of choice for my workouts. I have been using them in the gym for my bike workouts, and will be my headphones for my Fall races. If I am not running with friends, Aftershokz will be keeping me motivated and moving.
I highly recommend the Aftershokz Trekz Air headphones if you are a runner that needs to listen to music or podcasts during a run. They will allow you to listen safely so that you are aware of your surroundings. Forget the one earbud thing, upgrade to Aftershokz! You truly won’t be disappointed!
