I’ve always been the type that likes to THINK that I am organized. That I have everything in it’s place and that I can easily find whatever I may need. However, it’s just that, a THOUGHT. I am far from organized. In fact, I’m a pretty scattered person. I want to be neat and not have a cluttered desk, but it just never seems to last very long. I go into a store like IKEA and get so inspired to get this space saver or that shelving system for my stuff, but the inspiration seems to fizzle somewhere along the way once I do get it all set.
It would be so easy to cop-out here and say, “hey, it’s not my fault, I’m so ADHD.†But, while that is the case, it’s just an excuse (something else I’m working on in my life). So, what is it that I can do to maintain a more organized and neat existence? Honestly, I’m not sure. I do love bulletin boards, calendars, lists and what have you, but will any of that truly solve my clutter-filled life? I’m curious, what you do to keep yourself in an organized state. This also extends into getting things done each day. Sure, I love lists, but then said list ends up in a pile of clutter… There has to be a better way to make what I’d like to be; the life that I live in my mind a reality (well, in the sense of neatness anyway).
