I’m a BIG fan of the Back to the Future trilogy. In fact, they are my favorite films of all-time. I was 7 years old when the first film came out, but by the time Back to the Future 2 hit in 1989, I was hooked. From there on out, I was a Back to the Future fan for life.
When I found out that Virtual Pace Series was offering a Back to the Future Delorean medal for the 35th Anniversary of the film, I immediately registered for it. The challenge is to run/walk 88 miles in 90 days. I figure that’s easy for me to do since I average at least 12-14 miles of running per week.
My mileage for the challenge will begin tomorrow, May 23rd, and my goal is to complete the mileage by July 11th. That’s 48 days, give or take. If I get in my 3 days of week or running, should be easy to do. I will be hash-tagging all of my runs until I complete the 88 miles with #BTTFvirtualrun on my social channels.
If you are a Back to the Future fan, check it out! It’s called the Running Out of Time race. This virtual racing company seems to offer some fun medals if you are looking for a fun way to keep up your training motivation.
