The wait is finally over! At 9pm Eastern/8pm Central time, the revamped series based upon LIVE PD premieres on the REELZ Network. The show will air Friday and Saturday evenings from 9pm-12am.
Executive Producer and co-host Dan Abrams, along with Sean “Sticks” Larkin, and Curtis Wilson will provide live commentary and analysis. While each show is live, there will be a slight delay in place. This is to accommodate network practices and standards. Also, pre-recorded clips will be aired during each show from earlier police encounters.
On Patrol: Live will follow seven police departments across the country — Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, Moncks Corner, S.C.; Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, Albuquerque, N.M.; Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Charleston, W.Va.; Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Ocala, Fla.; Nye County Sheriff’s Office, Pahrump, Nev.; Paterson Police Dept., Paterson, N.J.; and Richland County Sheriff’s Office, Columbia, S.C.
Two returning segments on the show will be the Missing Kids and Wanted Criminals pieces. The series will work with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) to feature missing kids. That is so important in this day with so many missing children out there.
“The community, the people who love the show are a part of the show. We incorporate them into the show. They are part of what we think about every day,” Dan Abrams told EW. “It’s really important to me that the fans of the show and the people who enjoy the show know we are following very closely what they’re saying on social media.”
Make sure you are ready for tonight’s premiere of On Patrol: Live! Reelz is available on Dish, DirecTV, xFinity, AT&T U-Verse, Spectrum, Sling, and Philo. You must have a live streaming version of the channel to watch.
