Favorite Running Podcasts

Do you listen to running podcasts? I do on a daily (well, when they are available) basis and I love them. I tend to listen while I work since I work at home and in between phone calls, I’m fortunate enough to have that ability. Without further ado, here are some of my favorites lately.

runningpodcasts

Marathon Training Academy. Angie and Trevor not only know their marathon stuff, but they are entertaining to listen to. The couple’s cute talk amongst each other makes this one a fun and knowledge-filled show.

Runner Girls. The three best friends talk about their training and each episode features a running topic. They currently are training for various half marathons and trying to achieve a sub-30 minute 5k.

The Mickey Miles Podcast. All about runDisney and everything related to running at Disney. Hosts Mike Scopa and Michelle Scribner-MacLean know Disney and frequently do listener Q&A shows.

Another Mother Runner. Whether you’re a mother runner or not (which I’m not), this is a fun listen and I enjoy every show. Dimity and Sarah are fun, witty and talk about topics relating to female runners and also have on some great guests.

Embrace Running. Another podcast by a fun running couple, Elena and Mark. They talk races, the latest race news, as well as numerous running topics.

The Extra Mile. Kevin leads listeners on a run as he plays race recaps and training updates from fellow Extra Milers from around the world. Definitely a favorite! He also has a special Galloway edition at times throughout the year.

The Midpack Podcast. Steve Runner talks all things mid-packer. Steve has been podcasting for years (he has at least 2 other active podcasts). This is a shorter show, usually around 20 minutes with talks about various running topics.

Marathon Journey. Host Derek talks training, running news, and a running topic. He also does race recaps. Always a great listen!

The Marathon Show. Joe Taricani takes you to race expos and onto the actual race course as he broadcasts throughout the event, talking to fellow runners along the way. Fun, and must-listen to show!
