Okay, let’s just be completely honest here. My head is in TOTAL marathon mode right now. With the Space Coast Marathon in 6 days, my 2nd marathon is at the forefront of my mind. This means that I’ll likely be blogging about nothing but the marathon and of course The Biggest Loser this week. So, pardon my “tunnel-vision” if you may on that. 🙂
As far as the plan for the week goes, I am planning on going to the gym after work tomorrow for a bike workout. Will probably take that pretty easy, but I would like to get a bit of mileage in on the bike. Then on Tuesday, it’s my Galloway group run of 3-miles. Wednesday, I would like to do some light cardio, so maybe the gym again, not completely sure yet. Going to play that by ear (which may or may not be the best idea, ha).
Then, on Thanksgiving I’ve got the local Turkey Trot 5k! This one is done by Track Shack and benefits the local Senior’s First organization which helps with the local Meals on Wheels program and such. My dad is actually walking this one as his first 5k, so that’s pretty cool. I hope this is the first of many for him. I will likely take it easy with the marathon days later.
Friday will be rest. A lot of nothing, well except for work which is sitting anyway (not the best thing for fitness, but that’s the job). On Saturday, I’ll be leaving by 10am for Cocoa and the race expo. Hoping I can get myself some good rest this week since I’ve been a bit more tired as of late.
